

In order for a student to be eligible for homecoming court, they must have completed 48 credit hours. Academic and judicial standing will still be checked upon court candidate submission. Please review the court candidate requirements under the Rules & Rubric section before your submission. Online court submission starts 8:00 AM Monday, September 14th.

This year, the Homecoming Committee is partnering with University Marketing and Communications to provide court candidates with a professional photograph to use for publicity. Candidates must attend either a photo session on Wednesday, September 16th or Monday, September 21st anytime during the 4:00-5:00 PM time frame. Afterwards, photos will be made available using the Zimbra Briefcase application to the candidate’s contact person. Only this picture may be used as publicity for the candidate.

Yes, participants can still dress in Hobo clothes or destroy vehicles for the parade if they so choose. We are encouraging students to support Tech Athletics since there are 3 Tech hockey games and a football game during the Homecoming week this year.

Yes, however they now called Homecoming Games. Due to the extreme risk associated with some of the past activities, some of the games have undergone a change. Please review the rules and rubrics of Homecoming games to get further clarification.

No. From feedback the Homecoming Committee received, banner making was becoming stagnate. Therefore, new for the 2009 Homecoming will be window painting the Rozsa Center Lobby windows! Art will be displayed throughout the week and will be visible for visitors and students alike.
